Title: EU-wide internet outage last night

For those of you who noticed that it was very quiet yesterday evening, followed by a mass of new posts this morning (apart from Pete Yoshi clearing out his shed )…

Google Cloud is used by lots of hosting companies as an outsourced storage provider. Yesterday they had to shut down one of their EU data centres due to overheating and cooling failure.

Don’t worry though. It’s all back and running now (so no excuses)
