Title: How effective is carburetor spray at cleaning parts like the needle jets, etc.?
Post by: Athame57 on August 18, 2021, 11:13:22 AM
I'm going to replace some float valves today and clean up the linkage too. I don't want to go onto territory like changing needle jets just because they happen to be in the kits I have here, so is this carburetor cleaning spray any use for that?  ;)

I used the one that Halfords sell - I found petrol & then cellulose thinners as effective.

Get yourself some acetone and some paint brushes.
