Title: Re-line or aftermarket replacements?
Post by: 71 V12 on August 23, 2021, 02:28:37 PM
Hello All,

I need new CB750K brake shoes.

I guess new OEM are NLA. I see DS do an aftermarket alternative which are very reasonably priced.

However would I get better performance and fit from relined original shoes?

Many thanks.

Kevin

The last shoes we has re lined, 500/4's I think, were about £25 if I remember correctly. Excellent job and extremely fast turnaround. If you want the name of the company that we used, give me ½ hours notice to dig in the memory bank, or find the invoice. It's a British bike name 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Edit.....Got it...... Villiers 😊😊😊😊😊

I have used Villiers services in the past. Cant praise them enough!
They re-magnatised the rotor for my CB175. They did'nt even charge me!
Did it for free.
Sean.

Thank you both. You confirmed my thought - relining the way to go👍👍
