Here is the bike I got, An old Honda cb400 Four that has been sitting for yonks.

I got a new ignition for it and a battery and it ran eventually. I'll post about it in the apropriate sector.

Hi welcome to the site, what do you plan to do with the bike, is it up for full or part restoration, it looks like you have a fair bit of rust to deal with

I wanted to get on the road asap with a budget bike as I am short of money, these seem to go for comparitively low prices in this condition.
I was hoping to just fix it up mechanically and get the mot.
Later on I would like to mae it look nice. I'm into the customised type of bike so I thought I may try some sort of mild customisation.
I always seem to end up with bikes that have something slightly unusual about them that stops me from mollesting them too much. Like the c90 I got, It's a green one. green = rare.
and my previous bsa b31, which turned out to be the much rarer b32.
this bike seems like a fairly standard no frills 400 four tho :)

I have a 500 and had some 550's (still in back of barn) these old bikes are still good as cheap transport and as a bounous don't suffer depriciation.
