CB750 / F2 front caliper

bit more info required please... the sliding pins on the f2 front calipers have a thin rubber sleeve on them.. my chrome plater cut these off, can i use without them or anyone know where i can get them please...T

Thanks for the info people. saves me forking  :-\ out for a new front end for my chop project. i have 3 spare dohc front ends. my sohc is majorly becoming a dohc chasis as i have already narrowed and fitted a dohc swingarm. cheers again.. Terry

CB750 / fork advice please

just a question as to whether the forks & yokes/trees from a 1980's dohc will fit into my 78 f2 frame. have looked through other posts and see they have been used but need to know if any alterations were made or do they just fit straight in.. cheers Terry
