here we go again  :-X

Well been trying all day to get a better running Bomber...... it misses sometimes and it pop`s on the over run well most of the time it doo, I have this morning taken off the cam covers and re-done the Valve clearance`s also looked again at the ign Timing checked out and re-gaped the plugs also set the mixtures using a colour tune which I got to a Nice Blue colour, the other thing I thought about is if there was a leak in the exhaust somewhere........... I still wonder if it is running rich or lean around that 1/4 throttle opening ?

Weather being kind i`ts the vintage run on sunday....But I keep Trying to sort it dont no what else to try ?  ........... don't know if its still something to do with the Kits that Ashely said about ....... and Main Jet by the way is the standard 125 ...but I have not got any bigger ones to try if it needs to go that way LOL  ;D

i dont suffer from copd at all. my shortness of breath never improved after having covid back in 2021.  what i cant figure out is how nicotine could improve my breathing. i'm pleased obviously, but it doesnt make sense. weird.

Oddly enough I was talking to a mate today whose niece has been left with no sense of smell or taste having since been told it's  long Covid related that was alleged to have been confirmed by a blood test at a Bristol Hospital.
He had heard of other folk with your experience as regards Nicotine helping - as you state weird.
I did not know there was some sort of test that can detect Long Covid.

I heated the end of the swingarm and just knocked out the bush with a long steel rod. Came out pretty easy, no cutting.

Are you refering to the short bushes that used to be plastic (Julies are Brass) or the long Center Collar shown in the parts book diagram as item 13 p/n 52141-300-000 a hefty £103.22  from DS?

They were about 2 inches long and definitely metal.

I’ve fitted a couple of sets also from NJ. Only advice I can offer is make sure the inside of swingarm tube is spotless. I drove mine in with a rubber mallet.

Don’t blame you for seeking elsewhere. I received my goods the day. Quite a neat box of tricks. Whether it’s any good or not I don’t know. I won’t be needing it for a period of time but I can add to it bit by bit. It was on offer!
