He's thrashing it enough to change the colour of the pipes.
That would have annoyed Ralph (Bitsa) to have double skinned pipes going that colour. ;D

That appears to be the only picture of Eunice racing a 500 that Google can find. Seems mostly BSAs and Nortons.
I was riding a 500 in 76 (age 18) and if she’d raced at Brands Hatch I’m sure I would have noticed.

Summer of 76 I remember it well. FS1E then onto a new RD250 on my 17th birthday, then into the side of a Ford Escort doing a sorry I didn't see you manoeuvre. Then 8 months in plaster with a broken right leg. Top summer.️

in 76 I much admired my mates 500-4,
in 77 he decided to sell it
and guess what, I still have it !!!

1976 was also the year that I bought my F1 (12th April) and pretty sure my first divorce came through.
