Hi Guys , could anyone let me know the cylinder compression and oil pressure PSI for a 550F2 . Just rebuilt the engine and i am just about to test the pressures before i fit back into the frame .

Thanks guys I’ve checked and still cant see anywhere thats got them for sale . Searched the internet and nothing , there’s only a seat for sale with a hinge bracket in the US .

Thanks Byranj, it’s a 77 F2 , bought a new seat from DS but these do not come with any brackets , managed to get a seat plunger from eBay .

Hi , has anyone got a spare seat bracket for sale that fastens the seat to the seat pins located on the frame.
Also I’ve bought a set of coils from DS and just want to check that the - connection connects to the black and white wire .

Can’t believed Silvers are selling bad quality looms , the guys whom made this were certainly colour blind , think they may have run out of green cable , they had even put a green sleeve over the main earthing lug lead .
Checked my old loom and all the handle bar switch wires match up perfectly.

Hi Oddjob ,I’ve checked my loom and its correct for a F2 as the handle bar switch wires have bullets and joins under the tank next to the coils .
I think i will refurb the original loom as its defiantly repairable.

The loom is a really bad copy as they’ve used different coloured cables as per original , spot the earth colour . See photo of the rear of the loom .

Just been checking the new wiring loom from DS and it seems that the green earth wire colours are now red and white on the replacement loom, very confused .

Thanks guys , but i am a bit confused about the wiring loom that I’ve bought from Silvers , it clearly states its for a F2 , i also bought a right hand switch gear genuine honda and the wiring colour does not match the switch wires .

So i am gathering that if the vin number starts with a 2 its then a F2 .

Ok must be me being a bit thick , checked on the frame number and I thought it was in the F3 range .
