Title: Lower front engine hanger bolts - oil leaks caused by wrong bolts.
Post by: McCabe-Thiele (Ted) on August 18, 2021, 03:38:03 PM
I've just cleaned up my old lower front engine mounting bolts - like the originals listed in the manual 90106-333-000 both are the same length at about 73 mm.
Listed on DS as 10mm x 74 mm but not available.

When I read about the front oil gallery being cracked as a result of the bolt on the offside engine mount damaging the casing  is this due to none standard (too long) bolts being used or the right ones without the right thickness washers?

Usually its when somebody removes crankcase protector bars which come with longer bolts and they fefit the bolts that held the bars
