Title: CB250/360G5 and CJ250/360T parts.
Post by: Yoshi823 on November 22, 2009, 11:49:27 AM
I had given to me a few years ago a Honda CB250G5 that was not worth renovating,so I sold off the parts. What I did find was that there was a big similarity between the front end of the G5 etc and the front end of the CB400 Four. This made things a lot easier to sell on.Even the seat fitted the 400F,but to purists this would be unthinkable.
As far as I remember even the back end fitted the 400F.

Would that mean someone here might be able to use the very ratty g5 front wheel and disk I mistakenly bought ages ago?

If the disc is still good then it will fit the 400F.

Considering the silly prices that 400/4 bits are fetching now, this could be a very handy alternative resource.

Just took delivery of a CB250k4 back wheel today to add to my bike-in-bits - dropped straight into the 400/4 swingarm, AND got it for about 1/3 what I would have paid for the same item labelled as a 400 part.
