Please fill this one out it can only be a benefit to have nationwide rules against the lottery that it is now when you can travel from on area to another and be under a different set of rules and picking up PCNs simply because you missed reading one sign out of all those that now litter our roads.

Are we talking here about the captive type stud/bolt  that is normally part of the tensioner blade - not available as a separate part? Is your tensioner blade in otherwise good condition.

A good starting point would be Moffat just off the M74 which is very bike friendly. Hotels and B&Bs will give out route maps with suggested rides.
Theres a description of the area in my site with some good helpful links. https://alanmedlock.com/2021/09/05/three-lochs-run/

I don’t understand the sizing of that so don’t really know Dom, somebody with far superior marbles will probably be along shortly to tell you. It’s a bit dear at nearly 30 quid though.

This is similar to what I used and it’s a dead tight fit so not coming out, think I had to tap it in with a block of wood to get it in right but fits a treat for less than 10 bob

Hi John,
It would be great for Johnny and I to meet up if it fits with your schedule.  Any idea what month in 2025 you might prefer?  Late May/early June is often kind weather-wise and accommodation is probably a bit easier too.  If you are visiting Glasgow, then the West is maybe the best - the North Coast 500 is great too but buggered up a bit now by gobbins in hired campervans.  Hubert (honda enthusiast) might also have suggestions too.  We can get discounts for friends and family at certain times of the year on the Northlink Ferries - they go from Scrabster to Stromness (90 mins) and Aberdeen to Kirkwall ((7 hours).  If you are intending coming to Orkney, we can ask around for suitable places to stay and can certainly give you a tour and some visits to other toy cupboards.

Sorted the brakes on both wheels, stripped, cleaned, new shoes etc and put them back on the bike so it’s a bit easier to handle. I’ll give them a clean up when they come back off for new tyres further down the line. Next thing is to get the wiring harness back in the place with correct routing, it’s just draped on the bike at the moment.

as the title says,I want to explore Scotland,

as I live in the west mid lands, its will involve a ride  north,

 my general plan is,

ride north, use the M6 to get past Manchester, then explore  the local areas,

I amexpecting to ride around 300 miles a day, that can be adjusted,

so ideally a B&B  north of  Manc

I have a friend to stay with near Glasgow,
I want to explore the islands,so info on ferries  and B&B,so a nice cruise to John O'groats,

return south on the easter side,

similar into england, down as far as Lincilnshire, then home,

 time is not critical,
suggestions from those thatlive in the areas,

also reccomendations of places tovisit.

  some thing for 2025

  your help is appreciated

The washers stick in the head recesses but if really missing are still available new.
On the adjuster is the thread stripped all the way down or just at the end? Honda should never have put that slot in there it gets abused.
New pattern ones are available but expensive and dont often come up used in good order any more.
I MAY have a used one but it wont be cheap
Thanks Bryan. The thread isnt stripped its the slot that has broken away; theres only half the slot. I have a mate who is a very ingenious fellow with a plethora of lathes, welding equipment and goodness only knows what else. I will see what he can devise but if I draw a blank I'll let you know.
