I ordered a set of 3 magnetic trays from Toolstation a couple of years ago. I don’t think they realised they were magnetic and I got 6.

When I did my 650 top end, with the rocker cover off and the plugs out I spun it over gently on a battery drill.

What about the low temp aluminium brazing rods on eBay?

I’ve used them before and they are pretty good.

I think Nurse Julie had a couple of these for sale recently.

That’s good to know, I’m not ready to fit mine yet.
Mines currently still boxed on the kitchen floor, missus is not happy.

But then she rarely is  ;)

I need to refine mine a bit, the polyurethane I used is way too hard.

3 of the rubbers holding my battery box on my 550 are shot.
They are not available so I thought I’d make some.

Made a 2 part mould in the lathe and got some polyurethane liquid rubber stuff.
For a first attempt it came out a treat and there was no shrinkage.

The new one is a slightly different shape because it was done on the lathe. May get a new mould 3D printed so it will be the correct shape.

Top pic is the old one.

My mate has just placed an order from these guys, I’ll let you know what they’re like when they arrive.
He’s ordered stainless for his RD250

Just checked all 4 pipes, no markings of any kind.

FYI, kit comes with everything you need. Brackets, bolts, copper sealing rings, clamps and collars.
Even the rubber bump stops for the stands.

It’s a lot of money but a hell of a lot cheaper than the other source of these.
