Hi All,
It annoys me so much that what you see is not what it seems.Sleaze today k0 for sale getting alot of bids but not being a expert on k0s not even seen one in the flesh,to me the airbox, sidepanels and carbs are all from later bikes. Can someone confirm to me I am right?Number 231104037722 and this is a so called expert bike shop.Bring back the cold war times for me things were great for me then.

Misc / Open / mph to revs cb750
« on: October 17, 2013, 08:25:22 PM »
Hi
Can someone tell me with standard gearing in 5Th gear what mph is at 4000 revs is?
I am messing about with clocks both kph and mph.Say at 50 mph the wind is whistling around my head but at 90 kph its nothing at all.I know that 70 mph is 110 kph
but it all seems strange to me.You continental bikers should be able to help me on this.I have been through a stationary radar trap no photos type and at 50 kph seems fine but as revs go up all my speedos are like me bloody slow.

Hi Guys,
Need all off members advice.I am totally bored out of my brains and to try and elevate this by buying stuff I don't need and selling it on eBay for rusty washers. Now someone I know god knows where he gets them from he has two k2s 750s and wants a min off 2800 euros here in France.Questions for all members.
1, The last one he had did not not have 4 into 4s, head leaked, front brake seized solid, did not run and UK Reg and I don't think its worth that. The chrome was mainly OK but it also had a stupid 16 inch rear wheel as well and all that was just a quick look over.To get it to french speck is a min of 300 quid for paperwork alone as well. With the price of 4 into 4s now (happens I do have a spare set new 341s)whats your thoughts?
2.He buys mainly from dopes who moved here and realised its not that much fun and are returning home and do not want the aggro of taking them back with them,
I will see the 2ND one in November cant wait.
3. What would you guys be thinking at what I have  said and you do know you have the bike of your youth already and there,s bugger all wrong with it.I know its a a bit sketchy and will take photos when I see these bikes but on what I have said got any comments worth, price etc what would you do?

CB750 / speedo tacho
« on: September 25, 2013, 07:37:54 PM »
Hi Guys,
Got an old tacho and decided to have a go at it myself. It works well but the needle jumps about a bit.Managed to separate without crapping the ring but just wondered how the needle comes off and at early stages where to oil and what oil etc. Am I right in thinking the needle should just pull off?I know the USA site has had big discussions with this but I do find it a bit overpowering,Any advice welcome.

Hi All,
Did all see the NOS tanks on sleaze?I thought what the hell fancy a new tank. Then went right off the idea already over 500 quid and not finished yet.WTH is going on I only paid a grand for  the whole frackin bike.I am all for keeping to originals but hey again getting out priced.
Restoring is getting to be a pain.Your thoughts.

CB750 / Rear drive chain
« on: September 03, 2013, 10:08:23 AM »
Hi All,
Over the years I have not kept up to date on chain technology. When restoring I just ordered chain and sprockets from DS.I have noticed in less than 600 kilometres it has already tight spots and is stretching like an elastic band especially after a screaming time.Your recommendations are needed.Make type etc.Would not like it to snap on me.
Many Thanks
Bitsa
