Misc / Open / Headlight uncrimp?

Has anyone ever managed to uncrimp a headlight.
It's not on a honda but an xt500

I have broken the glass...these things happen.
Can you uncrimp and pop in a new glass
The later ones have park lights or are sealed units...
I just need to swap the glass over
Anyone tried and if so was it successful

Hi guys...and gals
A few months back...could be years now I read in a classic bike magazine about a guy who will undertake your v5 application for you..and who has a very good hit rate ...

Anyone know who this could be..

I have a rather frustrating issue with an old norbsa that has lost its v5.

I have 2 mot's and 2 insurance certificates ..from 60's /70's
But none of the documents have both vin and reg number just one or the other
DVLA say I will need to go through the whole dating process which I find bizarre as all documents were legal at the time of issue...

I'm hoping someone who knows the process inside out may be able to shed some light on it...

What is it? / Spoke tool?

I've had a box of spokes and a spoke roller/ threader for years and never used them...until this week when I was sorting a new front rim for a project that had few loose fitting spokes/nipples...
So I made some up..great
But I have this I thought it was a bending tool but I just cannot work it out. Possibly there is something else missing..
Can anyone ID it for me and tell me exactly what it is...

I have as poorly magneto here that needs some tlc..
any recommendations for a rebuild guy...
down south would be a bonus but shipping is pretty good these days so not so important...

hi
does anyone know of a good dent guy down south..
i have a very nice clean blade but there is a tiny tiny dent on the tank...with no paint damage.
so i am hoping it can be repired with not to much agro..
ive seen a few guys on the net but a recomendation would be great..
