Title: 1976 CB750 Rat chop thing (AKA the big pile of rusty scrap)
Post by: Cannonfodder on May 17, 2020, 05:43:37 PM
I thought I would share a couple of pics of my Pile of rusty Scrap... I mean my project Bike. It will be staying as a rat chop no polished chrome and shiny paint jobs on this project. Please beware the pics are not for the faint of heart you have been warned  :P

My crystal ball sees a parts washer in your future, plus a small purchase of shed loads of cleaning kit.
Like the tank job

That’s going to keep you busy for a while but I’m sure you’ll enjoy every minute. 😁

Good luck with that! Although as Trig says, I've seen worse - my K2 when I started it!

Just tried to turn the engine over by hand with the kicker and it was solid.....I then put it in neutral and it turned over nice and easy with no unexpected resistance  :o

I would not even turn that over. The amount of crap that must of gone inside with it open may damage any moving parts.
