I have one of these in my bike its only 20 watts but much brighter but it will not fit in a Cibie light with the concave lens as the bulb is a bit longer than the standard and hits the glass www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01C1AOSVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
they can also be bought here for less than half the price

Hi
Yea mine has the concave lens

It wont fit it hits the glass I took mine off and fitted a standard reflector so I could use the LED, the chinese are catching on these bulbs have went up from £8 last week to £14. One of the other LEDs might work but I haven't tried them.

I bought a pattern headlamp from M&P for a superdream. It comes supplied with a 55/60W H4 bulb. Using the original 400four headlamp shell, it does fit, just.

I quite like the Cibie Glass but if all else fails i may have to look into that.

I have also a cibie I have ordered a couple of different LED's to try if I can get one to fit with the cibie concave lens I will let you know.

For halogen H4 bulbs I use Phillips white vision 4300k colour balance bulbs.
They are really good quality and give quite a white light for halogen at the standard 60/55 watt rating.
The Cibié light unit is known as a "Bioscar " in rally car world as I understand it. They are a good headlight with period mod look and good beam pattern I feel, worth keeping.
