Title: 19" rim on rear ??
Post by: cb750stu on September 18, 2012, 04:10:05 PM
Hi Folks just wondering if a 19" rim with the same width as standard would fit, my frame and swingarm are away getting blasted so i cant compare front and back wheels to check for fitment,

Regards

;) yes it will fit no problem, i had a 19" rear rim on my first cb750 one of the previous owners used to do sprints and hill climbs with it, he said he did it to give him a bit more ground clearance, not that i noticed  ::) anyway its back too 18" now

It will fit but why as 19 inch tyres are more difficult to get than 18 and you wont fit as big a one

It's not a good idea to go over stock width on standard rims, saying that I have a 130/80x18 on my 550.  ::)
