Post by: SteveCR7 on November 27, 2019, 09:23:42 PM
Hi, can anybody tell me the distance between the mounting hole centres on an F2 caliper where it bolts to the carrier:

Thanks Steve

I can dig mine out tomorrow and give them a message. Fronts?
Mine are all in pieces in the shed...so it's easy to measure

Will get out there and measure. Sorry...didn't get to do it today but I am out of work early tomorrow.

Right...checked the measurements and here's the info.

Threaded mounting holes where the carrier attaches to the fork lowers are 10mm diameter holes, 65mm between centres.

The holes where the caliper bolts to the carrier are 90mm between centres as best I can measure it.

That’s great, thanks for the info. The really good news is the Lockheed caliper I am looking to fit has mounting hole centres of 89mm, so will look at feasibility of fitting Lockheed to F2 carrier.

Cheers Steve

Allowing for my measurements being potentially off by a small amount....I had to use a steel rule as I don't have verniers that go that far...I reckon there is a very good chance they will drop on with no problems

It will just depend on the clearance around the caliper and alignment to the disc. Fingers crossed!
