Clearly NOT NOS, gasket is missing, rust on the inside and it's got a dent.
The 500 points cover is still reasonably priced unlike the 750 one. Around £65 last time I looked.
-
Oops, thought they where the same price as the 750
-
For the 750 there seems to be a much cheaper imitation around, not with HONDA on it but 750.
-
I have had a few bits off that guy and is a good seller who is pretty good at describing things. I did consider it but as Ken says they are still available new for £65-70.
-
I have a few NOS ones Mick if you ever need one. Genuine.
-
Hey Ken that would be great if you could sell me one, let me know price via PM. also did you find a sprocket cover for me?
-
I was still awaiting your response on whether a internally broken one would be ok.
I'll try and clean them both up and see which is best and post a pic of the damage inside, one is minimal, one is a chain break. Both are very useable.
£50 including P&P to you Mick for a new points cover. Still bagged, flawless.
I bought a few as an investment, if they go up the same as the 750 ones I'm sitting on a fortune. ;D ;D I'm just playing the waiting game now. I actually have more than Mr Silver ;D ;D
-
thanks Ken, i will have a points cover, and the sprocket one with a little damage will be good. Was there something else you had that we discussed the other day as my memory has gone!
-
Not that I recall Mick.
