yeah all the chrome looks good, the stanchions will need replacing but thats to be expected, the tank seems solid and fairly clean inside, airbox is missing whatever connects to the carbs.
is it possible to get a collector/exhaust thats fairly in keeping? rather than the cherry bomb

i once had a p6 v8 with scaffold pole and cherry bomb exhaust hard bolted to the floor, any journey over about 5 miles made you ready to rip your own ears off

mickwinf, yeah i definitely need the right one, the left is apparently still there.

julie my frame number is 2100013 so i am assuming its the 13th if its like how they used to label old triumph cars anyway lol

Thanks Deltarider i had seen those codes before and my frame and engine numbers are correct for a 77 US Cb550f f2

mine is the 13th frame number of the 77 F2 apparently, but that's allowed me to discover that the F all have the same front pegs but the K has different ones.

i haven't actually received my bike yet but i know it is missing a few parts.
the foot pegs and the Tacho.
are the pegs from all 550s the same? i dont want to get the wrong thing if there is something specific for the F

the speedo looks like it has a blue fascia. is that an odd colour or just poor ebay photos? all the tachos i see online are either black or a greeny colour.
