Was checking the bike over, and wondered what's behind the tappet cover lookey likey inspection cover just below the points cover?

And this is what it looks like at the other end (down the bottom of the pic). A plug, with an 'O' ring with a stalk on it. The stalk has to be facing out as when the cover is fitted on, the cover pushes on the stalk and stops the bung popping out due to the oil pressure.[attachimg=1]
