I'm back after a van crash, covid, being punted across a roundabout and throwing my back out. I can finally get back on the bike :) don't waist a large wedge on paying for physio it turns out throwing yourself down the stairs works quite well  ;D
So we'll in fact I decided to use the Guzzi after tinkering with it for a couple hours and it still not starting I dragged the trusty Honda out and unsurprisingly it fired up almost with out hesitation. 62miles later and with my dad not to far behind on my Pegaso we stopped to look at a Husky 401. They must be good value as my dad paid for one there and then so expecting delivery next Friday. Anyone that has ever met him will know just how tight he is 🤣

It's been some time but found the time to get the 750 out of the back of the garage. Fired up almost instantly run ok apart from a slight miss if I give it a first full at about 4000rpm.

JT and never had an issue before.
I'm wondering if something was thrown up at it as there is a rub mark on the frame

For the first time in ages my back has been good enough for a short ride. Went to get the bikes out of hibernation then realized that none are currently road worthy.
The ride out idea was short lived as I had to go out and rescue my brother. This is what I found the chain has only done around 1000miles

Been having trouble with my 550 for ages now not firing on all four. 1&4 refuse to fire. Tried swapping the blue and yellow wire and no change.
I have replaced coils, leads, caps and plugs. They all test fine.
Put a new battery in awhile ago. In the wrong way round. ::) Resulting in me striping the main loom to look for damage. No major damage other than a couple dodgy old repairs and a few corroded cables now cut out and replaced and burnt harness behind the fusebox now replaced. Must have made a difference as the lights are clearly a lot brighter and 2&3 have a bright blue spark. I've tested the Boyer Branden and confirmed over the phone with them it must have been damaged when connecting the battery the wrong way. New BB and still no spark on 1&4.
The only thing I can think of now is the stator must have been damaged as that's the only other thing I can think of that would control the spark.

Cambridge is full of electric scooters and they make my blood boil.
Only two days ago I nearly took one out with the truck when turning right at a junction. As I sat waiting for a gap in the traffic it pulled up on my left as if to go left. When I pulled away he pulled out at the same time but tried to out accelerate and cut in front of me. What made it worse it was dark and raining and his bright LED headlight was sticking up in the air blinding me mid corner. In typical cyclist fashion in Cambridge he was totally oblivious to what he did and how close he was to being flattened. I have also had them riding in the wrong direction and straight at me along Huntingdon rd on more than one occasion.
I'm not against them but they should be classed as mopeds and a CBT Should be mandatory.

Just had a look at my 550 and that's designed for people with legs of equal length.
My Aprilia on the other hand is the same as the 750's.
Maybe Mr Honda visited Italy before designing his bike.

Both my K1's are the same.
You would think you would notice when riding but you don't.

My dad is still a CHiPs fan.
The earlier ones were the better it just got progressively dafter.
It's clear to see why people struggled to work with Eric Estrada.

I saw CHiPs 99 the other day with fat Eric made my dad laugh.

Air tests on new builds are a complete joke. I have had to tape and cling film windows and doors shut to make them pass. They only test a couple on the plots and sign the rest off.
I once worked on a new build Jewish place of worship you know the one begins with an S. I can't spell it so not going to try 😂.
The tall ceilings were designed to allow air flow to prevent still air.
To get it to pass they wrapped the entire roof with pallet wrap and then it only just passed. 😮

Your all softies it's currently  15c in my lounge.

I have spent most of my working life trying to stop condensation in customers homes. Hardly any of them understand when I tell them you need airflow. Most rentals I look after suffer badly because people insist on blocking every gap they see and then drying there washing on the radiators.

I once worked on a new build care home that was filled with mosquitos 🦟  Every night before I went home I would crank up the heat and open windows and every night the site agent would shut them behind me. In the morning water would be pouring out of lights and sockets. The paint on the walls would be wet for days.

I have a ramp with the parallelogram type legs. Mine has a tendency to skid across the floor when pushing the bike up it. If I forget to move it back when lowering it. It sits nicely on the open draw of my brothers snap on tool chest that he dumped in front of it.
He didn't notice until the other day when moving it to his new place of work. He thinks that he must have done it loading it onto the van.

My garage floor is as bumpy as hell and it can be a real pig to move with a bike on it.

No need to threat in OZ they will still be burning diesel and coal long after India has gone carbon neutral.😁

I'm sure you lot have seen the best times on the roads. But remember this it's your fault speed limits were brought in so you were the beginning of the end.

When you add up the price on a new panal, paint and badges I would consider jumping off the bike to catch it.

I had pannier bags on the bike so thay stopped it from just vanishing.
