You wouldn't have raced that in the 80s, not in that trim. The front forks have lost the mudguard bracing due to having the original mudguard removed, if you did that ( and everyone did then) you always fitted a fork brace or the forks flexed like hell and really buggered the handling up.
its not really a racer,just a silhouette replica racer,for either road use,or maybe parading ?? notice the headlamp,
it really needs a double sided drum front brake to give it a better look, IMHO !!

I fail to see where the 8.5k is. Standard frame, engine, swinging arm and forks.

I've probably spent more on my 400/4 engine and suspension than was spent on that bike, just another cosmetic caferacer?
