Hi All,
Im looking for a front mudguard for a CR750 replica im building here in the UK.
I can pay a fortune for one but as I have GL1000 front forks it may not fit well anyway.
It looks like I may have make one myself,, therefore does anyone know the length of the mudguard from one end to the other and the length across exactly
I can make the brackets and struts to suit .
Any help appreciated

Simon Tappin (moonpie) says Maitland racing has the moulds from an original CR mudguard - speak to Tony Huck 020 7485 0473. I'm going to use his mudguard blade with fork brace from original chrome mudguard then make the stays to suit. I will run an 18inch wheel which I think the mudguard suits - you may be using 19 inch wheels.

The mudguard blade is very close fitting on the original , see photo below, I've just bought a second hand aluminium blade for an 18" wheel on eBay to try to replicate one, not sure if it will have the correct profile but at least being aluminium it will be easy to trim the length , the profile or "curve" won't be easy to change so if it's not suitable it can go in the bin it was cheap enough, I've run my bike without one up to now but as I'm taking it to the TT this year and whilst I'm there I obviously won't be able to swap to one of my other bikes I thought it was time to fit one in case it rains.
