You can get them after market at £12 for the 400 and original £££. The 750 is not a straight fit.
Cool, aftermarket is fine, but Where??? Peter Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My bike seems to be missing the side grab handle for pulling onto the main stand. My searches seems to be coming up dry. I have been advised however, that a 750K4 one will fit although a different shape. Can anyone verify this or suggest another alternative please, ideally though, I'd like to source the correct 400/4 part if anyone has one or knows where one is. Thanks, Peter.

Any ideas on where I may be able to get hold of a pair of straight ones or does anybody have a pair to sell.
For less than the price of replacement stanchions, Philpotts in Luton can straighten and re-chrome including collection and delivery. I've had 2 sets of stanchions re/chromed and they're very good. Check them out www.pittedforks.co.ukPeter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Started dismantling the front end as the forks seals are completely shot and as I was taking the headlight off I noticed that the sealed unit seemed quite small in the head light bowl and is quite loose. Can anyone tell me if this looks correct?

There seem to be to fixing screws at the 4 O'clock and 8 O'clock positions and an adjusting screw in the rim at 9 O'clock.
Thanks, Peter.

I collected the above today, and my first question is - Do the US bikes run with lights on all the time as there doesn't seem to be a switch on the right switch gear to turn lights on and off like the UK/EU bikes. Also the front indicators seem to be on low with the low beam as well or is this a wiring glitch? I wouldn't be surprised as the loom has been hacked.
Thanks, Peter

Thanks for the replies. I tend to use Esso super unleaded in my old vehicles as I understand it has the highest octane value.

That's great thank you very much.
Tools aren't a problem. Just re-checked for height and got 1200 so at least that won't be a problem.
Thanks again.

That's very good of you. Ooooh, it's tight, I've just about got 1800 at diagonals. Might have to take the bars off too Just to confirm, that's 1800 from the edge of the rear tyre to the foremost part of the forks? Peter
