Title: New guy from the USA
Post by: Kelly E on November 25, 2020, 03:20:38 AM
Hi, my name is Kelly. I live in the northwest corner of the US. I have been riding since street bikes 1980. My first bike was a 1980 CB650 that I had for 2 years and 38k miles. In 82' I traded it in on a new VF750S Sabre and put 140k miles on it in 9 years of ownership. My friend and I now have a collection of ten bikes that we share. Two of them are SOHC Honda's. A 75' 400/4 and a 74' 550 K0. Most of the bikes we resurrected and 8 out of 10 are currently roadworthy. All of our bikes are riders that we use and share with a few select friends. I live on 5 acres and have a 1400sqft shop where we do all of the work and store most of the bikes.
We are currently resurrecting our 84' VF1000F Interceptor with 16k miles on it which was stored indoors for 11 years before we bought it. The last bike left to do is the 1980 Suzuki GS1100EX. It will be a full tear down except the motor since it only has 16k on it. We have also done a couple of bikes for other people between doing our own bikes.

Thanks for the welcome. ;D
I go on quite a few rides every summer and get some great pictures during the trip. Washington State has very diverse terrain. I can go from the first two pictures to the second two in 3 hours. And here's a shot of my travel bike.  It's a 94' Kawasaki ZG1000.
