Was just going to post the same link!

That has a strange VIN number and the engine number is a GE. Never seen that on a CB750F1, only on a F2 ;)
Would need to see the VIN stamping on the headstock ::)

Would this make sense
CB750F2 SUPER SPORT ENGLAND
Engine # B750GE-1000016 ~
CB750F1 SUPER SPORT 1976 CANADA
Frame # CB750F-1022452 ~ #
CB750F1 SUPER SPORT 1976 ENGLAND
Frame # CB750F-1020712

Makes sense. Still would love to see the VIN stamp on the frame and someone must of spent a lot of time getting the black paint off that engine . I understand that the GE stands for General Export ;)
-
Looking at the bike it is F1, frame running gear brakes etc, I'll leave the engine number to the experts.
Cheers
Dennis

Possibly a K7 motor in there ?
Shared bottom end with F2 and would have been production line same time.
The F2 cases are black inside too, with only surfaces that have been machined showing alloy.

You would think so but according to CSMNL General Export are CB750E
As for the frame UK bikes didn't get the VIN plate did they and were stamped where that plate is. My USA is stamped on the other side. The V5 shows date of first reg UK as 76. All a bit strange

All my UK CB750K2's are stamped on the left and my UK K6 is stamped on the right no VIN plate. The VIN plates started coming in around that time. Had a F1 many moons ago and can not remember if it had a VIN plate.

Vin plate attached to front right hand side down tube, just below the steering head on my 1976 UK version F1.

Isn't it nice when everything is just plain sailing. :)
