Title: DVLA Again !!

Hi all , received my V5 at last today do the dvla not return any documents or photocopies that they ask for as I received nothing but the V5 .

After a week i got a letter  from SGS stating i need an inspection that took another week then about 10 days after that i got my V5 so nearly a month in total.

I didn't get any paperwork back other than the V5 twice.

I got it all back today including a V948 to get plate made up , 2 days after i used the V5 to get a plate made !!!!

My Mrs just bought a car last Saturday.  Today a letter arrives from DVLC stating that they're "going to send the V5 shortly" .   Er,  why not just send the V5?

Rhymes with   'Anchors' methinks.

Got my paperwork back from DVLA, Everything except the USA Certificate of title. Which is a pity really.

I never sent my title on Jamesh advice i just sent a letter stating i never had it as he said they keep it , shame really as its a part of the bikes history  :(

When i did several years back and you could go to a local office they told me the titles were sent back to the state concerned to prove to them it was not in the US any more. I of course believed every word!

On the paperwork not i just had a letter saying they are sending me a letter WTF!!!
