Hello. I have a very nice CB175 K6. Built using about 80% nos parts. The wheels are original. I polished the spokes about 10 years ago. But a few are now showing rust. Even though it lives as an ornament in my living room. So I ask. Should I just replace the rusted spokes, have all the spokes re, plated, replace with new zinc spokes or stainless. Thank in advance.

Hello. I have just noticed my front Bridgestone tyre has worn quite badly on the rh side. After only about 2k miles. This cannot be normal, surely. At this rate. I'll be using 2 fronts to 1 rear. Can anyone shed any light on this please. Thanks in advance. Regards. Sean.

Hello. Has anyone else on here received any strange invoices from Marcel? I ask this because. This afternoon I received a email invoice from Marcel, stating my account has been paid. Dated 2018! I would ask him directly. But being a bit of an IT dunce. I am reluctant to do so in case his computer has been hacked. A bit odd that i get a invoice 5 years after the transaction. Sean.

I am currently playing around with a Xl125k2. Which has no engine. But i have a Xl185 engine, which i will try to fit into the 125 frame. But whilst comparing parts. I noticed the throttle slide in the 125 carb. Is much larger than that in the 185 carb. This i found surprising. Can anyone explain. Why the extra 60cc would need a smaller carb slide? Sean.

Hello. Does anyone here know where the main earth point is supposed to be? I would have assumed it to be near the coil. But there is no sign of the usual green wire with a ring terminal there or anywhere else. Regards. Sean.

I have bought pressed aluminium plates from this guy on many occasions in the past. Very satisfied I was too. However. He appears to have gone rogue. I ordered a plate over 2 months ago. He said it would be 3 weeks. He took payment over the phone at the time I placed my order. After 4 weeks I rang him. He said he was having a problem with his machine. But I would have my plate by the weekend. I has not arrived. I cannot reach him by phone or mobile or email. The address on his business card does not exist. It's a shame really. He has been a good supplier in the past. Just thought you should know.

Just browsing eBay. Looking at 750f1's which I admit to having a soft spot for. I spotted a F1 Cafe Racer. Which looks ok. If you like that sort of thing. But I think. If one is going to do something different. Do yer own thing. Not buy someone else's. But my point is. How can someone take a bike. Then throw half of it away. Then ask 3 times what a original mint bike is worth?
