Can anyone identify where this spring pin should fit in 71 K1? It measures 5*22 mm, I have it labelled as wheel hub but cant see where it would fit in either hub. Looks like I've mislabelled it. I've searched my manual and parts book from front to back but can't find it in those either. :-\

I have never seen one before Mick but Trig may be able to shed some light on it. I will ask him when he gets back in.

I can only recall one roll pin on a K1 and that holds the kick start spline and that one is too small ;)

Cheers Graham, that's very reassuring! I know the kick start pin is in, but have no idea where this one has come from. I was beginning to panick! :-\

I have a vague memory of seeing a master cylinder with a roll pin in vertically between reservoir and lever pivot

Cheers Bryan , Yes, I did think that might be the location when I looked through the parts manual but it turned out to be for a rubber bush which replaced a cam type fitting on earlier models which apparently adjusted lever distance ?

Does the 750 have the same right footrest layout as the 400?
There's a roll pin to locate the spring that holds the footrest up when using the kickstart.

Good shout but no they must be different, there's no roll pin in my footrest set up. :-\
