[ Guests cannot view attachments ] First run on a restored 750 and got about 4 miles out and engine faded and died.Had similar probs with a yamaha years ago with blocked fuel cap so released fuel cap,, brand new DS cap and sure enough I'm away again. Just taken cap apart and there is a small circular wad of felt jammed between the rubber enclosing washer and vent hole. Not at all impressd...Anyone else had problem with felt?

Had the same prob yesterday.New 750 seal and tacho cable.
Remedy was to really force cable in. .Perhaps seating/settling seal?

No.my spigot is on the left hand side.I'm going for the easy option and apply K2 transfers.Spent far to many hours on the tank.

Thanks for replies.I've a K5 bought with a fair amount of missing or wrong parts fitted. ie your petrol tank tap opening is a different configuration to mine,I've threaded spigot.

Slowly working my way through it.Given up on using too many new parts as have two daughters to run at the same time! So hence the phrase! I have a buyer waiting for it but its gonna be awhile

I've an eight by six foot steel shed erected 20 years ago. Came with a warning sticker that if expecting more than eight foot of snow to add additional bracing!
After the first year of having awful condensation, bought a huge can of anti condesation paint and have had no issues since.

Did some fin repairs on CB350 and found that it required a tremendous ammount of heat,and of course the instant you go above your left with a blob!
Took an assistant with oxcy/acet keeping head hot and holding repair peice in position while I held,another torch and filler rod.
Will never attempt again.

Hi,My import 750 K5 idiot console bulb holders used to have a rubber seal around them to fit into missing console.
After many years in the sun and sand they have perished and have the brittle remains of one left.
Has any fellow member found a solution to this problem?

Planet blue metallic is a straight metallic.
No candy.
So put on a ground coat - for instance grey.
Than simply spraypaint the planet blue metallic.
You can also use a spray can - aerosol for this.
Apply decal and clear.
Thanks for clarity on application. I also read your veiws on RS paints but as other paint manufactures wont post to UK will have to use RS. Also now in contact with Diego
