Title: Headlamp bulb
Post by: mike the bike on May 25, 2020, 01:55:51 PM
There's several listings on Fleabay for headlamp bulbs.  £26.95 for 10.  I'm tempted to buy a pack, I'll have enough to last until I'm 300 years old.

Which bulbs are those?

As above, which make?

I've used bulbs professionally with Phillips and Osram being the best makes technically.  Rarely have a failed one in H4, H7 and H1 types of halogen bulbs so not often have to buy them.  Car suppliers usually do them in pairs so you have a spare for bike use that'll probably get toward 20 years use out of them.

Had a look and can't tell much about them, assuming picture is accurate too.

Guess you'll have to suck-it-and-see if nobody has any direct experiences on here. Presume somebody is just boxing them up from third party supplier so pot luck what you get from a technical and durability point.

As you say though,  a box should last you a while.

Difficult to tell but looks like a standard H4 fitting
