I am 4 weeks into the wait for my 3 year license renewal, could not do it on line as they wanted a new photo and my old license as proof of who I am, 60 years with a driving license and I cannot prove who I am, as my passport has timed out and I no longer exist on computers.

I am a pensioner, and my car tank is only full after the low level warning light comes on.

It seems that every single car and van in the queues have "empty" tanks and are desperate for fuel, what shortage are all these idiots going to cause next, I see one pub has a sign outside "beer in short supply-panic buy here"

Heat up until black, then dump in cold water-easy, I have a home made copper head gasket.

I am only giving the tuning advice I received from the people that actually raced them in clubman's 500cc racing back in the day.

My original enquiries (1985) and subsequent conversion of my 400/4 to Yoshimura racing trim, the oil cooler was only considered necessary when fitting Carrillo? conrods with bigger diameter gudgeon pins, allowing engine max revs up to 16,000rpm,standard  conrods were considered OK to 12,000rpm by the tuners.

I have several "old school" items from my maintenance days, among them are several  different sized telescopic handled magnets and a couple of telescopic mini mirrors, industrial equipment has even bigger spaces to loose things in.

Hi Bryanj, just saying it's been discussed before on here, I have three different packs of useless ebay bulbs from 5 years back thrown in a box, worthless.

We have been here before, a lot of stock bulbs on ebay are too long and the holders do not push all the way home, Honda ones are a bit shorter and a lot more expensive, but they fit.

The quality of tools an individual buys should be governed by their use, and while a good few mid-range tools are great for the home mechanic, tools for use in industry on a daily basis, have to be far superior to home use tools. Apart from the safety aspects of heavy usage, "professional" tools lessen the need for constant replacement of worn out or broken tools that are in constant use.

The original fastening system has been more than sound on my 460 yoshi with 1/2 race cam and 26mm Amal carbs., more important is a heavy duty cam chain and heavy duty clutch springs, I have revved to 12000 rpm with them.
