My mate has a Triumph Tina, bit rough but running.
He plans to restore it this year.

This is a pic of my 550K0, it originally had US bars and now has UK bars.
I haven't got round to replacing the brake hose yet, you can see how long it is in the pic.

Definitely worth having...join the rdlccrazy forum and ask for advice on its value (remember to filter the answers as with all forums 😄 ).... they also have a spares shop “the one stop lc shop” where you can buy just about everything and its good quality too. The guy who runs the site is a good guy and knows his stuff (norbo)...
Thanks, will check it out

Just been to have a look and from the VIN number its a 1980 RD250LC but the engine is definitely a 350.
Is this still a worthwhile investment or should i walk away?
Bike is in amazing condition.

Thanks for the info everybody.
One last question:
Has anyone got any tips on how I persuade the missus to let me keep it in the living room?
Garage is full.

Anyone know anything about them, my mate has had one in his shed for must be at least 10 years.
Hasn't moved in all that time. He's now thinking of selling it so I may go for it. Think the engine needs a bit of work.

Make sure the negative lead of the battery has a very clean connection to earth.
Mine didn't so the current went down the small earth wire in the main loom and melted it.

I have my optimate connected directly to my battery which is permanently fitted to my Fireblade. Haven’t had any issues. One thing I did add is one of those plug in RCD’s between the 13amp socket and the power lead.
The battery will last less than a week due to the alarm if I don’t use it.

Have ordered a new seat cover from DS, is replacing the cover pretty straight forward?
Can the chrome effect trim around the base be re-used?
The seat foam appears to be in pretty good shape.
