If you type “site:sohc.co.uk” in front of your search term, it will just search this site.

The mobile browser is different from the desktop one.

Has there been an Android or Chrome software update?

The server merely “serves” the content requested by the browser. Font and size are (normally) set by the local browser according to the user’s settings or browser default.

Try CTRL and + (together) as a shortcut to increasing font size locally.

Sorry to ask techy questions Bryan.

But.

Android or iOS?
Tapatalk or browser?
If browser, which one?

Go for it.

Those of us of a certain age love to read about Tridents.

Interesting Dave…

My driving instructor (1979, Escort Mkll)
complemented me on my observation and road sense. “You’re not a motorcyclist by any chance are you?”

Had to smile.

Hello Leila.

Can you give us some more information on who you are, what you have got and what help you need?

People who register just to sell stuff are not generally welcome.

Thanks

Steve (Admin)

Mine was a K plate.

I always thought it was a K5

Came with special aviator sunnies too!

Unlike Dave, I like the K5 shape

I had one in 1977.

Those Dunstall Decibel silencers weren’t.

Can’t read it on a phone Ash. I’ll bet 50% of his visitors are on a mobile.

Wow - without wishing to hijack the thread, that's like a pre-internet website! Takes me back to the 1990's...
Oxymoron Alert

Pre-internet website

Sites in the 90s were all fixed-width with content boxes hard coded in HTML to a fixed number of pixels. That was ok until bigger/wider screens came along and then laptops with different aspect ratios.

Auto-sizing (known as “responsive”) design took over in the 00s.

Then there were smartphones.

Considering how hard it was to test a page design against all possible screen sizes and resolutions (let alone all the different browsers that were around), it’s amazing that anything ever went live.

Nowadays it’s all done for us in the background and browsers all conform to a basic set of standards.

Here endeth the tech lesson.

Back to the subject…
