Title: Gasket sealant
Post by: Seamus on May 16, 2009, 11:42:42 AM
Another question. I have looked at the US site and the recommenced sealant for crank cases seems to be Hondabond or Threebond 1194. I have found a source of the latter and was wondering what the wisdom was.

Another result of reading was the suggestion that the barrell studs should be replaced by some high tensile ones to allow a bit more torque to the cylinder head. My barrels are at 810cc (I believe) so should I change the studs as I have got the thing in bits

Thanks again

Seamus

Thanks again Bryan. I have ordered some Threebond and will have a look and see if I can get the studs from the US.

Cheers
