Sort of Mick, your close to one, I think the other wasBartons and i had good service from http://www.sparesdirect.co.uk/. What Suzuki do is when they decide to obsolete a model they sell ALL the spares to onedealer and then its up to that dealerto import spares if he wants, or at least thats how it was years ago

Good job petrol prices are on the way down, can tell you how to make it a Sheene replica and do 5 to the gallon!

Sorry mate, you can't get much farther from Gloucester so i cant pop round to help!
Careful when tightening the fork tube clamps on the top yoke---there is supposed to be a shaped washer in the gap to stop you over tightening and breaking the ally but it regularly goes missing.

Decent bike Nice car, where are you?
Dave the 500/550 seems more "tolerant" of bad petrol than other models, must be the best to but!!!

Modern petrol goes "off" quicker than it used to. If its been stood for over a week drain out the floatbowls and let in fresh from the tank as it stays in better order in bigger lumps as it were/ CX500 and the twin cam750/900 were the first to show this problem back when new but petrol got even worse in the ensuing years

Honda only ever put "show" quality where it could be seen----look at the finish on the unseen parts of the rear brake pedal and rear mudguard

I think Pirahna and Newtronic are the same thing--better is Dyna or gp to the US site and look up "hondaman" he makes an electronic system triggered by the points run at a very low current so they last forever(nearly)

Dont shout too loud, having talked to Dave the answer is at least Honda still make em---complain too much about quality and instead of improving they have a tendency to obsolete

Try it without the washer from the kit first, I seem to remember washer went on some models but not others.
as long as bearings adjust nice with no free play all is OK

Memory vague but seem to remember it was either the honda washer or the kit washer not both

More likely to be the pirahna playing up than the coil mate, have you got the bits to re-convert to points?
