I've been following the H J Pugh auction today (looking for a Tiger Cub for the B.I.L).
This 1963 Honda CB72 just sold for £2,600. Did anyone on here buy it?
Some of the prices being obtained are pretty high, a rough 1977 Z200 Kawasaki needing a full recommision sold for £650 whilst a RD500 went for £15,000!

2012 Stanley Battery Drill
Show off!! ::)

What's you bil done to deserve that?
A Tiger Cub for the mil. I could understand!

That drill is a work of industrial art😊. I bought it cheap thinking it would last for a couple of jobs (like anything bought from Wicks) but it's been amazing, never stopped working 👍.
Yeah, the BIL wants a Cub, I've tried to persuade him to go for a Honda XL if he wants a four stroke trials iron but he's determined to go Brit for the character (short for unreliable, rattly, leaking oil and expensive!). Give me an early XL250 Motorsport any day!

I had a Tiger Cub. Its crappiness was only surpassed by the Norton jubilee that came after.
But I have owned my Xl Motorsport for the passed 20yrs
The only comparison to to the Cub. Is the woefully inadequate 6v electrics.

CB72 describes engine and frame no. as CBM with is the 360° crank engine so pretty rare in the UK.
I can't make out in the Auction photos if the points cover is stamped 'Type 2' or not :( That would indicate a 360° crank engine) Usually a JDM model .. Also Police CB77 was 360° Type 2
