EBay auctions can go mental at the last minute, a car I was bidding on was mine until the last few seconds, when it went up £800.

That said the fact the owner can’t get it to run properly should make it a bargain for someone who knows what they are doing.

Not sure if it is a bargain really... non runner, only had it a year or so, no reserve, high mileage. I hope it is a bargain for someone but it could be the start of a very costly nightmare also.
