Gary Nixon on #9 followed by Yvon Duhamel #17 a proper sliding wildman of a rider.

And attached is Gary Nixon on the Honda before they "converted" it to a Kawasaki two stroke  ;D

I wonder if its possible to "add" the 2 strokes rather than remove them, making your bike into a 6 stroke, surely this would be even more powerful...

The opposite.
Remove another stroke and you have a 1 stroke. There is no more efficient motor.

That must be why all high performance race engines are single cylinder.....  ::)

I like the idea of blanking off one cylinder to gain more power.   Why not blank off all 4.  That would minimise drag significantly and free up oodles of otherwise wasted power.
