Apart from aesthetics. Is there any difference between K1 caliper & the Caliper on the F1?
Thanks in advance.
Sean.

Bolt spacing is totally different ;) K1 bolts from the back and F1 bolts from the front ;D
-
Oh yes, so they do. I'd never noticed. What a good do.
Cheers Trigger.

Also CB750 F1 front brake caliper has a larger diameter piston.
-
Is there a later K series caliper that matches the F1?
Or are The Calipers on the F1 unique?
Sean.

The K7, K8, and the A auto models also use the same caliper. I'll be honest, secondhand ones these days are still rare and fetch silly money, and often require money spent on them for peace of mind and sorting broken off bleed nipples. Bite the bullet and buy one of Dave Silvers replica ones, they look no different, and work fine, if you do buy a used one it'll be interesting to see what it costs!

I put this together a long time ago when I was hunting for parts for my F1.

Hello Dennis.
Thanks for the info.
I have one F1 caliper. In fact I had two but I think I chucked it out in a clear out thinking a would not need F1 Calipers in the future.
Goes to show, you never know.
Dave Silver currently list them as out of stock.
