What is the best way to press in the bearings heat/cold ??
Does the distance collar have a specific way it goes in it is slightly different at each end ???

Wheels look good. Obviously not standard colours, but on the right machine, they would look really cool.

Ususlly cool bearings down in the freezer prior to fitting as it helps a bit. You can tap the bearings in using a suitable sized socket, or press if you have one. Another option is a threaded bar with heavy washers on either side to pull the bearing in.

I assume you are working from a manual as I believe that the rhs one has to be fitted first. (need to check that though). When fitting the second bearing, it only needs to nip up on the central spacer to hold it in place.
