Hi Folks just wondering if there was a specific way that the distance collar in the hubs goes it is seems slightly different at either end ???

I would imagine that it makes no difference. The outer tangs are just to centre the spacer in the wheel.
Hope that makes sense

I guess if you don't get much response it would suggest that others aren't sure either. And it's an area that not many people see or work on.
I would start by offering the ends up to each of the bearings that it's going between to see if there is any clearance issues with the bearing cage etc that would cause damage.......then try to assembly the bearing and spacer pack onto the wheel spindle without the wheel present so that you can take a look at what will happen inside the hub ( you may have to space the spindle to centralize the "spacer" with some tape or similar) and see how or if it assembles without and clashes.

Cheers Guys i managed to figure out which way it goes by looking at a schematic of the wheels,bearings went in fine after a few hours in the freezer,
