Title: bulb fittings
Post by: ace cafe racer on August 10, 2019, 08:14:33 PM
I presume the empty holes in my clocks are for lighting them. I have searched the internet for fittings but am at a loss. Can anyone point me in the right direction to obtain the fittings and wiring.

They should look something like this:

The hole you are seeing in the clock cups is the cable hole. The rear of the clocks have two holes per clock and you have to use the Honda bulbs as other bulbs are too long and burn the back of the face plates.
To get the bulb holders you will have to put your hand deep in your pockets.

or use LED ones which don't get hot and are brighter

Are the 750 bulb holders the same as the 400 holders?

The CB750 clocks have a 14mm hole for the lamp holders. The CB400 has 12mm holes
There are 2 different sizes of lampholders.
