Title: New member from Croatia
Post by: kiki.o on December 08, 2021, 11:48:30 AM
Hi all,

A long-time lurker, found a ton of useful info found here but never had to contribute much. Now I have a several questions so decided to join the forum.

From Croatia, in the restoration process of CB400F for 5 years now :)

Will make a project introduction in another thread.

Best regards,
Kristijan

Welcome !

Another CB400F member

Only been to Zagreb once w....aaa....y back in 1975. During summer vacation from uni., travelled from East Yorkshire to Athens & back in a 1968 Triumph Spitfire Mk2. Seem to remember getting the dynamo commutator skimmed in Zagreb, in a back street workshop. Eventually, had the dynamo completely rebuilt at a Lucas Service Centre in Athens.

Welcome to forum, there seemed to be more 400s represented here than any other model. Not sure if that's still true.
Also as Ash, been to Zagreb once on the way to Greece, but on Z650 a few years later in 1980 The road between Zagreb and Belgrade was a nightmare I remember with trucks hurtling towards you on the wrong side of the road as they crept past traffic on their side.
When we arrived at Dover for the trip, there were group of bikers behind us. Where are you going they said. Greece through Yugoslavia we said. Oh we went last year and our mate got killed.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

The roads now are much much better, if you'll have a chance, take another trip, you won't be disappointed.

Let me know if you do in any case :)

Regards,Kristijan
