Hello, had this hanging in my garage for a few years, it’s in good condition and came off my 750k7, looks like a yoshimura type but has ALFA named on it. Anyone know any history of this system or if it’s correct. Have all the down pipes also. It’s a well put together system by the looks of it. Any info?

As Quasi said, that rings a bell

If thats anything like Alfas I remember / had, get some ear defenders!

ALFA were pipes I remember from the 80's. Not brilliant for power, and a touch noisy if you fitted a 'competition' baffle.
There was a fad for 'straight pipe' systems, and this was a popular one along with Lazer's offering.
I had an XS1100 with one fitted, and while it was less effective for performance than the Motad system I replaced it with, it sounded really good.

Remember them well I had one on my K1, if I remember rightly I bought one for the F2 which I think is still in the loft, will have to clear the loft of bike parts someday.

We’re they British made?, I will pull out the baffle and give it a clean. Once the bike is up and running will give it a try. Can’t say I heard it, as when I brought the bike it only coughed and splurted. But hopefully soon it will be running. What do you think it’s worth?, just needs a good clean and polish.

Get a decent picture of the logo.
Piki can make you a replacement once you've cleaned it up.

Yea one of my 400/4's had an Alpha system fitted ... made one hell of a loud noise.
