Just test rode this, totally insane power, 207bhp, accelerates quicker than you can think, my scrambler felt like a moped on the way home, way way too fast for me, glad I experienced it though 😄😱[attachimg=1]

Nice looking machine. I do like modern sports bikes but even 20 year old ones are way too fast for our busy pot-hole riddled, loose gravelly roads.... Prob me just getting old 👀

I thought it was just me getting old and finding modern(ish) bikes too fast these days. One if the bikes we have is a 2001 Yamaha YZF 600 R Thundercat, I find it's great fun to ride but just too fast. It's like my brain just can't keep up with the bike anymore, it's a bit like jet lag of the grey matter..... worrying really. I must say that Panigale looks fantastic.

It really is a beautiful looking machine in the flesh, my photo doesn't do it justice, very nicely finished too, colour LCD dash and all that, it's only done 1200 miles from new (2015), my guess is that the previous owner found it as terrifying as I did and left it in the garage!, I've never experienced anything like it, it made my old fireblade seem slow and on the way home my scrambler felt like a moped 😄

Plus one on modern bikes being way too fast for me now - just had the ZZR1100 MOT'ed and talking to the tester and said to him that I have no desire to update to a modern bike (say ZZR1400) even if I had loads of cash - I cannot think of going anyway near the limits of power and handling of my ZZR never mind the modern equivalent
