Title: swing arm/main stand

Hi all can someone give me an idea how to remove all the bushes from the swing arm?? and also how to get the stand tube out as it is rusted in and i had to cut it off at each end to get the stand off ( ive tried heating it! no joy) cheers all jonny

Just bash out the swing arm bushes with a screwdriver/hammer they

The DSS ones will be the std Honda plastic. I managed to fit them OK, but you need a flat hard face to bash against, and you need to make sure it's on square otherwise whilst you're bashing them in the flanges will just shear off the bush.

I used a hard plastic disc. With a long M10 bolt through the centre of the disc, I put loads of tape around the bolt to make a tight fit 'spigot' that I pushed inside the bush. That kept the disc square to the face of the bush. Might have a pic if it helps.

Hi all got them out today they are sh*t arn't they?? got the stand tube out too, that was a really rubbish job! off to the powder coaters with all the bits now, bye for now jonny

I got mine here, I think they cost less than Honda parts even with the postage.

I had a hard time getting them German is not my strong language also, but I got a guy called Harry from the SOHC US site to translate for me, the text is in my pm
