Oil cooler will normaly have an adaptor plate held on with a steel "nut" that the standard bolt screws into. F2 had a longer bolt with a finned adaptor plate( no cooler hoses) that was supposed to keep oil a bit cooler

There is a longer bolt that allows an oil cooler to be fitted as I have both adapter and bolt sat in my garage, but I can't remember which bike the bolt was an original fitment for, but maybe not a Honda.

Hello Bryan.
I have a Serek oil cooler from a F1 i had yonks ago.
But i have lost the bolt adaptor that hold the sandwich plate in place. So i have had one made.
But when the filter bolt is tightened, the filter housing is 10mm of the plate. I cannot make the female thread any deeper,
But i can shorten the thread on the bolt.
This is why i asked about bolt lengths.

Sounds like that might be an F2 bolt, all the other 4's are the same so if you can get one of those to measure it would confirm it.

I got an F2 bolt I can measure if that helps. It's all apart right now...so the bolt is in the parts pile
