Title: Hello there!
Post by: Jorgead18 on September 23, 2018, 05:58:48 PM
Hello,

My name is Jorge, I am looking to get a bike from my friend that has a Honda CB 400F super sport, this has been off the road for about 20 years and although it doesn’t have any rusted pieces or anything that looks that could be a major issue with it. I would like to know what sort of things I would deffinetely need to change or update?

   Any help would be amazing!

Thank you,

Jorge.

Hi Jorge, I have a super sport too. If yours has stood as long as mine had you might find the carbs are seized if the fuel wasn't removed first. Also most of the rubber will be perished. Its not a cheap project, but it really depends on how it was left and why it was left. The way it was stored has a great bearing on the amount of work required. Put up some pictures and maybe start a thread on the project board.

Welcome to the nuthouse
